Shannon LaRosse, CFP, ChFC
Chief Operating Officer
Shannon joined WellSpring Financial in 2022 after previously serving in the same capacity at Strategic Wealth Advisory since June of 2013. She brought to the company an impressive background serving as an office manager/paralegal at a law firm in Chester County, PA. Feeling that she was not in the industry in which she wanted to cultivate a lifelong career she began to also pursue an accounting degree. Shannon always had a desire to work within the financial industry in some manner and believes she found that home with WellSpring Financial.
Shannon has been in the industry for over a decade. In that time, she obtained the Series 7 and 66 securities licensing as well as the professional designations of ChFC® (Chartered Financial Consultant) and CFP® (Certified Financial Planner). She is an Investment Advisor Representative which carries a legally binding fiduciary responsibility to always put the clients’ interests ahead of all else when managing accounts or making recommendations on qualified retirement assets. Shannon has become skilled in the area of crafting comprehensive retirement plans that encompass income distribution, growth, and tax-efficient planning.
“I am most passionate about helping people work toward their financial goals,” Shannon says, “Our clients have been saving for their retirement for many, many years, so they deserve to retire well and with a solid financial plan in place.”
Shannon attended Lancaster Bible College and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in biblical science, with an emphasis in professional counseling. She also studied abroad at the Word of Life Bible Institute in Hungary. In addition, she has earned a Certificate of Proficiency in Accounting from Reading Area Community College.
Shannon is married to her husband Josh, and together they have two beautiful daughters. In her spare time, she enjoys refurbishing furniture, reading, and planning her family’s next travel adventure. Most weekends she can be found cheering on her girls’ ice hockey teams or helping them perfect their dance routines.
