Soon the snows will melt and the grey will fade into rainbow hues and newness of life. I know I'm ready for Spring and the warmth it brings! One of the signs of spring is the butterfly. Consider the story of the caterpillar: In order to go to the next stage of life, it prepares a shell called a chrysalis. This cocoons and protects the caterpillar. In a sense, it goes inside itself for maturation and growth during the dark months of winter. When it is ready, after a fair amount of time, a new lovely creature emerges, transformed by the journey into a beautiful picture of life.
